צדקה 5771 Our tradition teaches that our prayers on ראש השנה and יום כפור must be accompanied by repentance or תשובה and acts of צדקה. Each year we ask you to take this requirement seriously and to make a significant act of צדקה in one or more ways. Please help us feed the hungry by bringing non-perishable food items when you come to shule for כל נדרי. KCT charges the least amount for dues of any synagogue in the area, and the dues alone are inadequate to meet the expenses of the קהילה. We sincerely hope that each of you finds the time that you spend here at KCT at services, or social events, or educational programs both meaningful and worthwhile. Please understand clearly that in order for KCT to continue to exist, it needs your generous support that we ask for but once a year. Each year we also suggest an additional צדקה, usually based in Israel, for your consideration. This year we would like to suggest that each of us make a contribution to AFMDA – The American Friends of Magen David Adom. MDA provides for Israel’s pre-hospital emergency medical needs, including medical, disaster, ambulance and blood services. MDA is critical to the ensuring the medical needs within the State of Israel. Please send in your check to the KCT Kol Nidre Fund along with a check made payable to AFMDA, we will then forward all checks received. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY |
