Nominations:
KCT's Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday
January 10, 2010. During this meeting, the election of at least four and
no more than six Members of the Board of Trustees for 2-year terms
commencing in 2010 will take place. Any KCT member in good standing may
be a candidate in this election if duly nominated. If you desire to be a
candidate for election to the KCT Board of Trustees, please return a
completed copy of the Nomination Petition
to KCT. The petition must be endorsed by at least three KCT members in
good standing. The nominee and his/her spouse are not eligible to sign
the petition. The completed Nomination Petition must be received by KCT
no later than Monday, December 7, 2009.

Topic: A LOOK INTO THE MIRACLE AND THE
MILITARY VERSIONS OF CHANUKAH
We
will look into the Book of Maccabees for its account of the holiday and compare
it to the way the Rabbis read it into the prayerbook!
Study with Rabbi Edelman begins with
Rashi study at 8:00 am, followed by davening, lecture and discussion
with Rabbi Edelman and concludes with Shabbat lunch. There is no
charge for these programs and everyone is welcome.
